Rodriquez Engineering, based in Genoa, is the research and development center for RCN. Rodriquez Engineering has collaborated on various projects:
- ENEA (l'Ente Nazionale per l'Energia Alternativa - National Agency for Alternative Energy) on the NAVE Project for the stabilization of large, fast ships.
- ENEA on the PALES Project for the development of design techniques for structures in LL and laser welding for naval and railway uses.
- RINA on the Monitus Project for an integrated navigation assistance system.
