make U.S. debut at the 2007 Fort
Lauderdale International Boat Show
Live-Around: A New Way
to Live the Sea
BRB Yachts has added a new
line to its roster of Italian made yachts and
power catamarans. Wayachts will make
yachting enthusiasts "Sea Different" when the new
company introduces its "Live-Around" concept to the
U.S. at the 2007 Fort Lauderdale International
Boat Show (FLIBS), where BRB will be displaying
the company's first model - the Wake 46. Founded
in 2006, Wayachts' philosophy, Sea Different,
allows for an understated and veratile product
with innovative solutions, built on emotion.
Wayachts' designs allow for a completely
accessible deck, redefining the walk-around
concept with Live-Around.
The 46 foot Wake 46,
starting at under $1 million, demonstrates
Wayachts' use of multifunctional spaces with
retractable storage to provide added space and
room for more windows. She comes complete with
Volvo Penta IPS (Intelligent Propulsion System /
Volvo patent), a revolutionary propulsion system
that increases acceleration (15%), speed (20%) and
fuel economy (30%). The IPS system makes the yacht
more maneuverable, allowing owners to use a joy
stick to back into a slip with ease, either in
reverse or by coming in parallel to the dock.
Recurrent elements in
every Wake 46 are the elliptic form of the deck,
developed on a single plan without steps, the
chaise-lounge that leans out on the wide open
stern, the use of natural materials and a maniacal
care of details. |

RODRIQUEZ 680 WIDEBODY
The Heat Is On !
 The response in the European market to the new Rodriquez 680 Widebody has been overwhelming. So much so that the builder - RCN - has decided to increase production by building the units at two facilities instead of one. Effective immediately, the 680 will also be produced at the plant in Torre Annunziata (near Pompeii) in addition to the present yard at Naples.

PC 62 Catamaran
Journey to Westcoast Mexico !
 After taking delivery of his new PC 62 Cat, "MAGIC STAR" in Miami, the owner, along with BRB Yachts' representative in Mexico, took an unforgettable cruise to the homeport of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. During the voyage, they swan with whale sharks at Contoy Island and visited San Pedro, Belize - a scuba divers paradise. On their way to Roatan, Honduras the PC 62 handled rough seas like a dream!
Transitting the Panama Canal behind a mega container vessel was quite a unique experience." The opportunity to experience one of man's greatest achievements is something I will never forget," said Mr. Ruano. After crossing the Canal, and with the help of the current, the MAGIC STAR arrived quickly to Mazatlan where the owner will spend a few weeks fishing and relaxing before heading home to Cabo. |
