BRB YACHTS BRINGS FIRST ITALIAN-MADE POWERCAT TO U.S. MARKET

Coral Gables, FL -December 4, 2006 -South Florida-based BRB Yachts announced an exclusive agreement with Italian yacht manufacturer VG Yachts, bringing the new VG-60ft Powercat to the United States for the first time. BRB Yachts is the exclusive importer and dealer throughout North and South America. The VG-60ft Powercat is currently being built at the new dockyard facilities of V.G. Shipyard Yacht in Mondolfo (PU), Italy, and will debut at the Miami Boat Show in February 2007.

According to Daniel Berrebi, the owner and president of BRB Yachts, the VG-60ft Cat will stun American boat lovers with its grace, Italian design and onboard comforts.

About the VG-60 ft Powercat

The VG-60ft Powercat is available in Owner and Cruise Models, both achieving maximum quality based on robust fundamentals of seaworthiness, strength, performance, safety, reliability, comfort and elegance. Either model of the Powercat can cruise the seas at 20 knots yet enter shallow waters with ease while maintaining a low fuel consumption rate.

This powerful pleasure craft is a proud emblem of Italian style and engineering, both in terms of her technical profile and her masterful design. The catamaran hull is the result of extensive hydrodynamic testing in a Froude's tank to guarantee maximum performance and stability, while the topside is distinguished by a sleek, aerodynamic sheer with discreet vertical bulwarks.

Designers and engineers pay meticulous attention to detail at every stage of the build process. The VG-60ft Powercat possesses numerous characteristics unique to her class, particularly her superior roominess, both topside and inside-40 percent more space than a mono-hull powerboat of similar length.

The cockpit is spacious and the fully equipped galley opens to a luxurious drawing-room with large sliding glass doors. Gangways are sturdy and comfortable throughout the craft, and stratified glass partitions grant excellent visibility from all angles. The distinctive fly-bridge hosts an area for guests and owner, connecting below deck via stairs and panoramic gangways. The primary wheel house is located on the fly-bridge, but the design is predisposed for a second internal wheel house if so desired.

Interior rooms are naturally illuminated throughout the day with ample bulwark windows and well-lit by night with sufficient overhead lighting. All cabins are ventilated, air-conditioned and include special comforts such as a stereo hi-fi system and LCD television. The cabins have queen-size beds, spacious bathrooms and separate showers.
