BRB YACHTS DEBUTS RODRIQUEZ 800 WIDEBODY AT FT. LAUDERDALE INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW
Rodriquez Yachts' Newest Model to Dock in the U.S. Combines Classic Italian Style and Innovative Technology
Coral Gables, FL - September 25, 2006 - Rodriquez Yachts, a leading European luxury yacht manufacturer, and South Florida-based BRB Yachts, exclusive importer and dealer of Rodriquez Yachts, announced today the debut of the Rodriquez 800 WideBody at the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS), October 26-30, 2006. Rodriquez Yachts first entered the U.S. market this past spring, and the Rodriquez 800 WideBody joins the fleet as the most spacious and powerful of the Rodriquez models to debut in the U.S.
"The Rodriquez 800 WideBody is a sleek and elegant yacht that will change the concept of on-board comfort and hospitality with her spacious interiors yet sporty appeal and aggressive power," said Daniel Berrebi, owner and president of BRB Yachts. "We expect to see jaws drop at the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show, where consumers will have the very first opportunity to see the Rodriquez 800 WideBody in person."
At the FLIBS, The Rodriquez 800 WideBody will be on display along with the Rodriquez 500 Sport Silver Edition, 600 Sport and 600 WideBody, at Bahia Mar slips FG1-FG4A.
The WideBody design concept creates a sense of openness on the 24 meter yacht that is comparable to that of a 30 meter craft, allowing for more deck and interior space. The competitively priced Rodriquez 800 WideBody can reach 32 knots without ever losing stability. She has a cruising range of 400 miles, and her stability enables passengers to relax even while moving at top speeds-a trademark of Rodriquez's production resulting from the company's history researching and crafting high-tech military vessels and fast ferries.
The exterior and interior designs of the Rodriquez 800 WideBody were the vision of Francesco Paszkowski. Her elegant interior features large windows granting passengers expansive views of the seascape. The salon and cabins are accented by leather sofas, vengé wood furniture, chrome accessories and teak floors. The four cabins include one master, two doubles and one VIP cabin. The galley resembles the kitchen of apartments and even includes a small dinette. There are areas for sun mattresses, a folding bimini cover, a fixed bimini top to protect from sun or other harsh conditions, two helm stations and a large garage in the stern that can hold a 3.5 meter tender and a Jet Ski.
The synergies available at the Rodriquez yards and the capabilities of its engineering offices allow Rodriquez to customize the 800 WideBody to suit the needs and aesthetic tastes of the owner's specific designs. The 800 WideBody can be ordered in one or two colors of the owner's choice, and unlike other luxury yacht brands, the high-end amenities available on a Rodriquez yacht are standard features provided at no additional cost.
Rodriquez Cantieri Navali (RCN), the parent company of Rodriquez Yachts, was founded in 1887 as a small ship repair yard. From four shipyards in Italy and one in Brazil, RCN has built over 550 vessels in the last 40 years including high specification military vessels, fast ferries and luxury yachts. RCN also builds military crafts for countries worldwide, including the United States. Government funding allows RCN the ability to invest in research needed to create the best, fastest, safest and technologically advanced instruments and vessels for military defense. Rodriquez incorporates this tested military experience and knowledge into the design and build process of the brand's luxury yachts.
