The Rodriquez Yachts 800 WideBody is a sporting yet elegant yacht that will change the concept of on-board comfort and hospitality whilst taking the blending of technology and grace to new levels.

Compared to other yachts in her class, the main salon is much more spacious due to a new design concept. The two side corridors disappear and this space is returned to the main salon to give the same space as that of a 30 meter boat.

Franceco Paszkowski, the designer of the external and internal views, and Rodriquez Yachts' own Pietro Camili are the inspirational force behind the flair of this ideal pleasure boat. They are supported by the in-house technicians, specialized in the construction of highly advanced fast ferries up to 150 meters, and by the construction methods of Intermarine, whose know-how in lamination processes stems from a rich background in military research. Additionally, the highly sophisticated stabilization system installed, engineered and designed by Rodriquez Marine System, is similar to the systems typically found only on large high speed ships where a smooth ride is a fundamental part of the operating criteria.

Rodriquez Yachts makes full use of the beam of the boat for the on-board space for both relaxation and entertainment without compromising its aggressive style and high performance, similar to the previously designed 600 WideBody. However, Rodriquez Yachts has made great progress in the design of the 800 WideBody in obtaining what is considered to be the true element of luxury: space.

THE WIDEBODY CONCEPT: A 24 METER THAT IS MORE LIKE A 30 METER

Focusing on the WideBody concept within a mere 24 meters allows for more deck space and interior space that would normally be found on a 30-meter yacht. Two sets of steps from the main deck bring you to the upper deck and fly bridge. This area makes full use of the space all the way up to the bow. You therefore have at your disposal an area that is much more useable and enjoyable, which again would normally be found only on a larger yacht.

The sensation of space is also carried through to the main deck. Guests are ushered onboard by an incredible sense of openness from the salon all the way to the dining area farther forward, separated only by a discrete half wall.

DESIGN AND PERFORMANCE

The hull, made in GRP, is designed to maintain a stable and comfortable ride even as she is pushed faster. The Rodriquez Yachts 800 WideBody can reach 30 knots without ever losing stability, which in turn allows for guests to relax and enjoy their cruise onboard.

Power is provided by two 1570 HP Caterpillar diesel engines and they are directly coupled to dedicated fixed pitch propellers in a V-drive configuration. The boat has a cruising range of 340 miles and quickly reaches the cruising speed of about 26 knots with the highest level of stability, a hallmark of Rodriquez's production.

THE INTERIOR

The interior, designed by Francesco Paszkowski, has a simple style--both refined and sensible creating an ambience of pure elegance. The boat has large windows that give luminosity to the interiors whilst providing the guests with beautiful views.

The dining room has wonderful natural light from the numerous windows throughout the area. The brightness of this area is complimented by the prevalent cream color of the salon area where the leather combines tastefully with the vengé wood and chrome accessories. The salon is designed to a simple yet elegant. The unique ceiling treatment dominates the circular sofa made from white leather. There are four cabins: one for the owner and three for guests, two of which are doubles and one a VIP cabin. The owner's cabin has different colors then the other cabins and is characterized by a convivial zone with two comfortable chairs and a vengé wood table. In the bathrooms the floor is teak parquet with the furniture in vengé wood. The walls are finished with vengé wood panels. The wheelhouse is accessible from the salon by a small stairwell and also has direct access to the upper deck outside.

EXTERNAL ARRANGEMENTS

The boat can be in one or two colors with the hull being dark blue and the superstructure cream. Other color combinations are available depending on the owner's preference.

The large aft cockpit is furnished in the same color as the hull as is the fly bridge. Towards the bow, there are two molded areas for the sun mattresses. For protection from the sun when at anchor, there is a folding bimini cover that extends from the roll bar. When not in use, this cover is entirely concealed in its own storage pocket. A fixed bimini top protects the pilothouse area from the sun, whereas the area will be protected with total enclosure during the winter.

Thanks to the efficient use of space, the designers have created a large garage in the stern where there is sufficient space to store a 3.5 meter tender as well as a Jet Ski. There are two helm stations, one in the raised pilot house located approximately midship and the other being external on the upper deck.

The synergies available at the Rodriquez yards and the capabilities of its engineering offices allow Rodriquez to build any kind of luxury yacht based on a client's specific design. Rodriquez can offer all its experience and facilities to help produce a truly world class yacht.
